About Us
Our Story
The Asia Pacific Foundation for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights was registered as a Foundation in Thailand in February 2021.
The Foundation came into being to support the Asia Pacific Alliance for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, a network of national, regional and global civil society organizations that advocate for the fulfilment of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for all persons in the Asia Pacific region. Over the last two decades the APA network has galvanized national and regional advocacy to further SRHR, gender and human rights at regional and international fora.
OUR MISSION
The objectives of the Foundation are
To increase access of all persons in the Asia Pacific region, particularly from marginalized and underserved communities, to quality sexual and reproductive health and rights information, education and services.
To create an enabling environment for accountability to obligations and commitments related to sexual and reproductive health and rights through engaging and advocating with governments and other stakeholders.
To mobilize support and build commitment of diverse stakeholders engaged in sustainable development, to advance the sexual and reproductive health and rights of all persons.
OUR FOUNDATION BOARD MEMBERS
The Foundation is governed by a Board chosen for their areas of expertise. The Board is responsible for the legal and administrative compliance of the Foundation with Thai Law and statutory requirements.

OUR STEERING COMMITTEE
The international Steering Committee sets the strategic directions for the APA network. The SC is democratically elected by members of the network with sub-regional representation.
